Experimenting with learning by osmosis

I was born in Bitburg, Germany but raised primarily in Newport News, Virginia. I completed my bachelor’s degrees at George Mason University, then my Master’s in Tuscaloosa at the University of Alabama. Since 2018, I have been learning about life in the midwest as I work on my Ph.D. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Apart from my work and research, I enjoy playing competitive volleyball, kickboxing, reading murder mysteries, and practicing yoga.

 

My home is with my people. I am grateful to have such an incredibly generous and supportive network of family around the world who make my everyday such a bright space.
